Enjoy a sampling of locally pasteurized meats from Slagel family farms, prepared fresh in four different ways. Amish Lamb Sausage, Local Goat Skewers, Pasture Pulled Pork Sliders, Homemade Grass-Fed Meatballs, and of course for those extra adventurous carnivores, 100% Grass-Fed BEEF HEART! Rock out to White Mystery, Blasted Diplomats, and Soft Speaker throughout the night, and be entertained by local comedians between the butchery presentations.

Red Meat Market’s Ben Harrison “The Rebel Butcher” and The Australian Butcher, Nathan Bosco - "The Cutter from down Utter" will perform their Butchery skills on whole animal cuts of a Goat and a Lamb!

MUSIC BLASTED DIPLOMATS
Blasted Diplomats’ self-titled debut might be the most Midwestern, blue-collar rock and roll record out of Chicago in 2013. With their confident barroom swagger, Blasted Diplomats combine an early 80s punk swagger with warm “Live Rust” riffs and anthemic alt-rock. It’s a similar combination that made pacific Northwestern acts like Mudhoney and even Pearl Jam a success, so it’s no wonder it works here. The thing is, Blasted Diplomats are still on the uptick with an edginess and maturity that enable them to take simple melodies and shape them through high adrenaline guitar lines and propulsive rhythms, particularly on standouts such as, “Wait Remainder” and “See Through Walls.”

White Mystery is brother-sister rock’n'roll duo Miss Alex White & Francis Scott White from Chicago, founded on April 20, 2008. The ginger sibling duo have written, recorded and played non-stop since their inception, releasing tape cassettes with BURGER RECORDS, vinyl 7”s with Hozac and Whistler Records, self-releasing three LPs, pogoing with the kids on Chic-A-Go-Go, touring round the world, and earning rave reviews from national and local publications – MTV, VICE, Sound Opinions, Pitchfork – and the list goes on. The WHITES released their third full-length, Telepathic, on April 20th, 2013 and continue their domination of old-school, ass kickin’ rock’n'roll.
