Grab a unique opportunity to jam with members of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra! People of all ages are invited to join members of the MSO for FREE Jam sessions at BMW Edge Federation Square throughout 2012.

MSO Jams for Juniors

Does your baby bop to the beat?  Your toddler tap their toes? Or your pre-schooler play the pots and pans?  Well, don’t stop the music! Come and join members of the Orchestra in a 30-minute jam-packed Jam especially for juniors. Perfect for engaging those active minds and bodies!

This program is recommended for babies to five year olds, and participants do not require their own instrument. All children are to be supervised by a parent/guardian throughout the workshop.

Please note:all Jams for Juniors sessions are now at capacity and that further registrations will be placed on a WAITING LIST. Should room become available for any of these sessions, we will contact those interested parties on the waiting list in order of receipt of their registration.

MSO Family Jams

Grab a unique opportunity to jam with members of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra! People of all ages are invited to join members of the MSO for FREE Jam sessions throughout 2012.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own instrument (or borrow one of ours!) and over the course of an hour, will develop an original piece of music around repertoire which the Orchestra is performing within the current concert season. Each workshop culminates in a performance by participants, which is open to the general public.

This program is recommended for children aged six and over, and participants are encouraged to bring their own instrument. Children under 12 years are to be supervised by a parent/guardian throughout the workshop.
